SPAR European Cross Country

The European media will descend on the National Sports Campus, Fingal Dublin, on December 12th to cover the SPAR European Cross Country Championships 2021, showcasing the athletes and the electronic atmosphere of cross country. Please see the essential information for the media that will allow them to prepare for the championships.
Accreditation for the SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Fingal-Dublin on 12 December is now open.
The deadline to apply for accreditation with accommodation is 22 November and the deadline to apply without accommodation is 1 December.

There is one official media hotel for the SPAR European Cross Country Championships.

The official entry point is Dublin Airport. Travel time from the airport to the official hotel is approximately five minutes.
To guarantee your transportation from the airport to the media hotel, your travel details must be entered into the registration platform system at least 72 hours prior to arrival in Dublin.
Upon landing at the airport, please report to the Welcome Desk in the arrivals hall.

Transport will be provided to the media accreditation centre for those staying in the official media hotel. Times of the shuttle bus will be provided at the information desk in the media hotel.

The opening hours of the media accreditation centre is as follows:
- Friday 10 December: 12:00 – 19:00
- Saturday 11 December: 08:00 – 19:00
- Sunday 12 December: 08:00 – 14:00
For accredited members of the media, there will be transportation between the official media hotel and the competition venue.

To all spectators travelling by car to the SPAR European Cross Country Championships on the 12th of December in the Sport Ireland Campus.
Please note that all registered ticket holders will be emailed directly as to where they must park for the event.
Note there is no parking on the Sport Ireland Campus for spectators.
For anyone unsure of their parking details please proceed to the M3 Parkway Dunboyne to avail of the free Park & Ride facilities. Buses will run from 8am.

By Bus from the City Centre.
Please take the 38A from Hawkins Street in the City Centre to Snugborough Road in Blanchardstown. The bus Stop is located directly outside the Sport Ireland Campus. Further information can be found at www.dublinbus.ie.
Cycle racks are available at the National Aquatic Centre for anyone wishing to cycle to the venue.
A limited number of hotel rooms have been pre-booked for the media during the SPAR European Cross Country Championships Fingal Dublin 2021.
